Having HBL (home-based learning) now lol. Have been doing it since 8... and so far i've done English, Math, Science, History and the survey :) Left with Lit, yay :D kinda slacking now since Lit starts at 12.30pm... :D Lol, nothing much to post though... School's been pretty much the same... so no point elaborating.... so like yeah. Kinda looking forward to next month :)
the hols are coming to an end... ): Anyway it wasn't much a holiday since we had to go back to school for 4 days - 3 days of Lit and 1 day of an excursion to the Botanic Gardens plus homework. Lit started at 7.30am which means waking up at the usual time. Pretty much of a typical school week huh. But thank god Friday was different cause i spent my morning printing photos then went shopping in town :)
Yes i'm finally back from camp after 3 days! :) feels great to be back home using a cleaner toilet & environment :D anyway, we had loads of fun there despite the fact that there were snakes, centipedes, millipedes, spiders, fly and whatnot.
DAY 1 we walked from about 1.5km before Bedok Jetty all the way to the campsite and for the first time I actually wet my PE shirt with my sweat. LOL. It was so hot and we were all walking with our bags (sleeping & shoe bags included) for 1+hour, walking like zombies on the pathway. We reached the campsite about an hour before our targeted time. WHOHOOOOO KC~~ anyway, we had a mini brief then proceeded to our respective dorms. Had lunch then went to change to our black shirt for Kayaking :D had briefing then we did the Water Confidence test which was so awesome cause the water was so cold and we laid on the water with our arms locked to our friends. It felt like we're in the beach (anyway we kinda are). SO AWESOME :D Kayaked for about an hour and after that we proceeded to build our own raft with 6 pipes & 4 barrels per group within a period of time and we had to make sure that the raft we built would float. We were separated to 2 groups = 2 rafts but group A (reg 22 - 40) didn't manage to complete their rafts on time. Anyway, in the process of making the raft, my legs almost broke (everyone else's too). Cause we have to tie the ropes tightly so we had to make the ropes go through under the pipes. It took us about 10 over people to carry it to the sea and about 20 people to carry it back. And of course the weight between going there and coming back is so different. Had dinner then went to change to dry clothes. Played a game which we had to be blind folded (i forgot the name of it) and I was the first person :D so I had to listen to our camp instructor who directed me with the clap of his hands. 1 clap = follow and 2 claps = stop. Removed our blind folds and we sat in front of some trees but the dog was barking at the tree. OMG SPOOKY. We moved to some place then had supper while doing our reflections. Showered then went to sleep
DAY 2 The first thing I said when I woke up was, "OMG we're going home tomorrow!!!!!" :)))))) brushed up then went down for breakfast. TODAY IS THE HIGH ELEMENTS DAY! had briefing on abseiling & flying fox then proceeded to flying fox. It didn't look that that scary from the top but the wind made me nervous cause it so windy. And I was like, "Omg it's so windy here. It's so scary". The guy pushed me down and it was so shiok cause the wind was blowing from my direction and i was screaming :D did abseiling after that then did some other stations like the high log and the low log. Had lunch after that then did indoor rock climbing. Sang some songs and I felt so sleepy I slept for a while. Played some team building games then practiced on our campfire presentation or whatever you call it. It was raining when we were practicing & everyone was like so restless. Had dinner then had campfire. IT WAS SO FUN WATCHING THE TEACHERS, INSTRUCTORS & STUDENTS DANCE :D after the campfire, we went to put the benches back then went for supper then did reflections again. Showered then packed my bag then went to sleep. My sleep was pretty much disrupted thanks to the flying of the airplanes every now and then -.- It was so noisy & annoying.
DAY 3 OMG we're going home today!!!!! woked up at 7.20am then went to brush up then went down for breakfast. Did area cleaning for about an hour and we encountered many millipedes. Played some games then went to change to blouse then had prize presentation. Boarded the bus then went back to school. Cabbed home with 3 others and showered & slept.
And up till now I still feel sleepy despite the fact that I slept for 3 hours just now. Ok, enough for now. See you guys soon :)
it's been 10 days, haha :) since i'm waiting for the home ec stuff to be printed out, i might as well blog for a while :D
today had 2 common tests - Science & Chinese today. ): Science was rather easy and Chinese was kinda okay :D tested my recipe for Home Ec and it tasted great even though it was my first time trying it out :D had CCA and i actually slept while the instructor was telling us about the video production thing. But i slept with my face buried in my hands & hair so it won't be so obvious :D It was so freaking boringgggg laaaaaaaaaaaaaa ): and we have a project. Actually 2 ): ): and we're gonna have camp next week ): ): ): SO NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. But 2 weeks after the camp is the March hols! yay :) i wish today is Friday
yesterday a pretty basic school day. Had a different morning exercise :) Ms Lenden got so personal with us it felt like we understood her. I never knew she had an English name, haha. :)
the day before yesterday had Orchid Hybridization after school for like 3 hours then went to Parkway with 5 others for a while. Took a new bus home :D Felt so drained when I got home ):
the day before Tuesday how i spent my Valentine's Day: CA in the morning and then followed by PE. PE was tiring cause we did some test ): had Assembly till 2.30pm then had lunch with 3 others. WHAT A NICE VALENTINE'S DAY
haha k, done. :) i know my blog is 101% percent boring but at least it's something :D
The past few days have been pretty great. :) went around visiting houses and collected loads of money :D and surprisingly my GREAT grandmother remembered me even though she's 93! and she looks about the same every year. :L the routine from Thursday to yesterday was the same, haha. So I shall just talk about the school days :)
last Tuesday was down on duty. Did it with Melissa and the pictures we took weren't as good. Ugh ): school ended around 10.30am and we had our party! <3 (like always :D) the class was hyper and all, but i really miss the CNY party we had last year. The activities were so much different. so different compared to this year's, but still great! :)
Today EVERY MONDAY = CA. and today's History paper was kinda okayyy :) was booked for my socks this morninggg when it looked okay (we should seriously be allowed to fold our school socks a bit). -.- ugh. so i left my socks without being folded and it was alright - it didn't go up! Yay :) so when i walked it felt like the ground was shaking (don't ask me why, i just felt it)! (note: conversation not 100% accurate cause apparently i have a rather bad memory even though it's just few hours ago) Me: Can you feel the ground shaking? Nali: No there's no mini earthquake here Me: But I can feel the ground shaking! Nali: Stand here. Is the ground shaking? haha, epic. and when i stood there, the ground wasn't shaking at all! -.- hahahahahahhahaha. had lunch with D & L and i choked on coke cause i laughed so hard. It felt like i was on asthma!!!

Today was one awesome day! :) haha, actually almost everyday is :) the morning was pretty usual just that this week our announcement speaker seem to not work. But at least it's better than the extremely loud one we used to have. :) and today didn't rain that much as the past few days. :D had Drama for the last lesson than followed by History supplementary :) went Parkway for lunch with 6 others then went back to school for class deco and halfway through Mr Pang called all of us out cause we were making so much noise. I ALMOST LAUGHED!!! Like the way he scolds people. It's so HILARIOUS!!! HAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHA. He such a different person during CCA! Haha, but thank god we weren't down for detention :) cleared up a bitthen we went to Diya's house to bake cookies for tomorrow :D we went cycling at the basement and it was fun :) hahahahahahahaha :)

Haha, yes, the title says it all :) at first i had wanted to post a few days ago but i felt tired so yeah :) anyway, school's been great and some days, not so great. But still, :) anyway, we saw some new faces during CCA yesterday. Welcome juniors! :) Haha, they're a cute batch of people who are kinda shy :) we played some games for about 45 minutes then went back to com lab to help put back the iMacs then went home :) Met my parents then went home together, watched a bit of tv then did homework.
& the day ended :)
The day was pretty ordinary and some of us stayed back after school to decorate the class though it's not so nicely done-up compared to the other classes. But i like the deco hanging on our projector. It looks awesome :) went opposite with Sonali, Diya, Lea, Samatha, Yoke Peng & Chantelle then went home :)

omg, tgifffffff! :) school was quite okay with Chinese as the first lesson and History the last. Basically that's what happened. nothing interesting. went for lunch with Diya & Sonali at Macs then homed. :)

Today THE ANNOUNCEMENT SPEAKER IN OUR CLASS WAS EXTREMELY LOUD TODAY. those guys who fixed our speakers yesterday are seriously just awesome. yes awesome. right. Okay, anyway, time passed by like, super fast today. As least it seemed like. Ms Mano changed our seats and i'm still at the same seat :) Had Drama for the last 2 periods and i forgot my PE attire so had to sit at one corner with Meng Dan for like 15 mins ): but anyway, Ms Jae's SO MUCH nicer than Ms Lenden (the difference of being engaged and being single). She only made us sit there for like 15 mins (we missed a game) while Ms Lenden would punish us for the whole drama lesson. And that also means NO name tags anymore! YAY (Y). Went Parkway with Lea & Diya after that and then met Nicole & Janell there. :) had lunch at the food court and all of us got our food from the same stall, haha :) The epic part was when we were all running from the other side to catch 31 but it left right when all our feets touched the ground -.- and we passed like 3 taxis so Nicole & Lea were talking about taking it, haha :)
Yesterday Had lower secondary talk straight after morning assembly, then had lessons. Had assembly again from 1.30pm till 2.20pm then stayed about 40 mins with Celine then homed with her :)
Omg hi godaddy. I haven't seen you in like, ages. anyway, school's been pretty good, except for the locker part (consequences: being told to stand up or kicked out of the class). haha, anyway that's life :) SCHOOL WAS GOOD TODAY. or should i say this whole week.
on Monday Father came and had mass for about an hour. Was down on duty. (and btw, what's STC?) was supposed to have PE after that but Mr Jega didn't come so Ms Martiah (or however you spell it) took over. I almost slept reading the 6-page-composition. COMING UP NEXT: RECESS OMG. Had Lit for a period, Art, History, Lit again (was supposed to be Assembly) then home. Had high fever about 5 in the evening so i went to the doctor's and got a 2-day-MC.
on Tuesday the plus side of not going to school: get to sleep way past 6am did Art homework and some revision during the afternoon cause i totally wasted my entire morning sleeping. (anyway it felt good, cause all i needed at that time was SLEEP)
on Wednesday omg, finally back in school. feels good! :) had morning exercise and we played captians ball and it was rather fun. :) and next week we're gonna run ): had English after that, followed by Science which we did like 2 experiments and in 35 minutes, 3 people broke 3 beakers. after Science it was recess, Lit, Lit Art, Math then went to Parkway with Sonali, Diya and Max for lunch then went to Diya's house till like 6. :)
on Thursday omg, no CCA today :D had Lit Art first thing in the morning, followed by Science, Home Ec, recess, English, MT then home. Reached home around 3pm yesterday.
on Friday (today) omg, tgif! THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY, LIKE FINALLY. had MT first thing in the morning and it was like damn boring ): had English after that, followed by Art, recess, Math which we went to the com lab for an online assessment then History. went to Bedok Point for lunch with Sonali, Diya and Lea. had Subway then we went to Lea's house :) watched a video on US day which i missed cause my mom didn't freaking allow me to go with them ): watched like 4 or 5 episodes of Victorious which was about 5+ by then. took bus back home.
